Project Home

Echo will have an opportunity to practice hospitality this month!
During the month of December, Woodland Hills will be partnering with an organization called Project Home, and offering homeless families a place to sleep for the month. They will be using the Bloo and Moka rooms to host these families, and we’ve gotta say — we are happy to offer them our rooms in the North Hallway!
On our part, this will mean some clever rearranging in regards to the way we do our Wednesday night service.
Here’s the plan:
We are going to have social time (which is normally in team rooms) in the gathering area. Please enter through the church’s main doors and check in at the gathering area, just like you would check into your team room. It is very important that we don’t enter through the North doors, because the families will be staying in that hallway and we want to give them as much space and privacy as possible.
Journey Groups will meet in their usual spots. After echo, please have your parents pick you up outside the gathering area, again at the church’s main doors.
Please contact Natalie at 651-287-3014 or npotts@whchurch.org with any questions about this.
Thank you so much for your cooperation and flexibility.
Again, we are really pleased to be able to offer our space and serve these families in this way.
Peace,
The EG team
echo’s offering collected $330 for the Naomi Family Residence during the months of September and October. Way to go, you guys! The receptionist at the Naomi Residence was amazed when we told them that it was students who contributed this much money. What an enormous blessing to them!
We are taking a break for Thanksgiving.
